Anapol Weiss congratulates graduating law student Colleen Maguire as the recipient of the inaugural Anapol Weiss Fellowship Program with Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. This new annual program is spearheaded by Shareholder Sol H. Weiss, a proud Villanova University alumnus. Sol participates in Villanova’s three-day 2L business seminar every year and is an active member of the Board of Consultors of the Villanova University School of Law.
Colleen was selected for the first fellowship position after a rigorous screening and interview process through Villanova and with Sol Weiss, where she earned her spot out of nine worthy applicants. The program is a ten-month employment stint at Anapol Weiss: a full law firm immersion that offers invaluable experience.
Sol sees the fellowship program as a way to give back to the next generation of Philadelphia lawyers. “I wanted to offer a graduating law school student an opportunity to have a different first year experience,” he said of the program. “I am very connected to the law school and am pleased to offer this opportunity to a graduating Villanova Law school student.”
