Between October 21 - 22, 2025, attendees will hear from top experts in their field, including lawyers and sexual assault advocates, and learn about how to draft a victim impact statement, conduct in-depth interviews with survivors, respond to crises with compassion and offer insight into how to address and improve various systemic failures.
Kristen Gibbons Feden is providing the closing keynote address, titled “Justice, Power, and the Next Chapter of the Movement.” The keynote will explore three key themes, including the modern pursuit of justice in a time of social and legal retrenchment, trauma-informed and survivor-centered advocacy as a cornerstone of effective legal representation, and how lawyers, advocates, and institutions can implement systemic change and push reform forward.
Additionally, Kristen will be sharing her experience litigating some of the nation’s biggest and consequential sexual abuse cases, including Bill Cosby and R. Kelly. With this keynote, Kristen hopes to inspire attendees to implement practical strategies that reshape the legal landscape so sexual assault survivors are truly heard, believed, and protected.
