James Ronca to Speak at the 41st Annual Auto Law Seminar

James Ronca, a highly respected trial attorney with years of experience in automobile accident litigation, is scheduled to speak at the 41st Annual Auto Law Seminar on May 16 and 18, 2023. The event, which will take place from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, will focus on various topics related to auto law.

Mr. Ronca will be one of several trial attorneys who will discuss important updates and case law related to auto law. The seminar will provide an update and analysis of first-and third-party issues and case law, including sources of medical payments, peer review issues, third party liability, pleading, proving and recovering medical bills and income loss., insurance coverage issues, and Fair Share Act issues.

The seminar will also cover using experts and consultants to establish and enhance liability, causation, and damages in automobile cases. It will also cover important legal and ethical topics related to automobile cases, including civil procedural and Rules of the Road issues that significantly affect liability and damages.

About Mr. Ronca

James Ronca is a trial lawyer with over 40 years of experience representing clients in a wide range of personal injury cases. He is a shareholder at the law firm of Anapol Weiss.

Mr. Ronca is also the lead author of the treatise called “Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Insurance”, which he co-authored with Leonard Sloane and James Mundy, and which was first published in 1986. The second edition of the treatise was published in 2009, with authors including Mr. Ronca, Sloane, David Lutz, Timothy Shollenberger, and James Mundy. The treatise is updated annually and is current through 2022. This treatise started the Pennsylvania Association for Justice’s Annual Auto Law Seminar, and Mr. Ronca and Len Sloane were the original course planners and speakers. They have consistently participated for the past 37 years.

In addition to his work as a trial lawyer and author, Mr. Ronca has also been active in various legal organizations throughout his career. He is a former president of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and a former member of the American Association for Justice’s Board of Governors.
