COVINGTON, KY, October 23, 2025 — Anapol Weiss has filed a 12th lawsuit against Roblox, on behalf of the mother of a 13-year-old girl, who died by suicide after months of manipulation and extremist grooming on the gaming platform Roblox and the messaging app Discord. The case, Seitz v. Roblox Corporation and Discord Inc., was filed by Anapol Weiss in the Eastern District of Kentucky.
The complaint alleges that Audree Heine was pushed to suicide by a Roblox community dedicated to glorifying violence and emulating notorious mass shootings like Columbine. It further contends that malicious users, often adults, allegedly use Roblox and Discord to target vulnerable children and groom them for sexual exploitation and violence. The filing asserts that Roblox has failed to implement effective moderation or age verification systems, despite repeated public assurances that its platform is safe for kids.
“This is not about a minor lapse in safety, it’s about a company that gives pedophiles powerful tools to prey on innocent and unsuspecting kids," said Alexandra Walsh, Partner at Anapol Weiss. "The trauma that results is horrific, from grooming, to exploitation, to actual assault. In this case, a child lost her life. This needs to stop."
This is the 12th lawsuit filed by Anapol Weiss against Roblox, which indicates a pattern of corporate disregard for child safety. The firm has become a leading voice in national litigation seeking accountability from major tech platforms that endanger children online.
