PHILADELPHIA, PA., March 16, 2026 — Anapol Weiss shareholder and trial attorney Alexandra Walsh was formally inducted on Monday, March 2, into the International Society of Barristers (ISOB), an invitation-only organization of experienced trial lawyers and judges.
As stated in the ISOB's mission statement, "membership in the International Society of Barristers is extended to advocates of exceptional talent whose qualities including integrity, honor, and collegiality embody the spirit of the true professional." Members are invited to join only after a rigorous screening process involving lawyers and judges to identify trial lawyers who meet its standards.
The ISOB counts among its goals retaining the legal system's commitment to trial by jury in litigated cases and the improvement of advocacy and collegiality in an adversary system.
"I am honored to join the International Society of Barristers and to be recognized by such an accomplished group of my peers," said Walsh. "The Society's commitment to the rule of law is now more critical than ever and central to the work we do on behalf of our clients."
A nationally recognized attorney, Walsh has tried and won cases in courts across the country. She is known for successfully representing survivors of sexual exploitation and assault, and has served in leadership roles for several high-profile multidistrict litigations. Her wins have earned recognition from the American College of Trial Lawyers, Chambers & Partners, and the New York Law Journal's Verdict Hall of Fame.
Prior to entering private practice, Walsh clerked for the Honorable Merrick B. Garland on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and the Honorable Stephen G. Breyer of the U.S. Supreme Court. She earned her law degree from Stanford Law School and graduated summa cum laude from Bowdoin College.
