Anapol Weiss is proud of our own Joel Feldman and his continued fight against distracted driving. Through his organization, End Distracted Driving, Joel is raising awareness about the growing problem, which the CDC says kills nine people and injures another 1,100 every day. Some experts believe the number of people injured or killed in automobile accidents will continue to grow as more and more people turn to their phones and other technology while behind the wheel.
Joel recently spoke with 10th graders at Marple Newtown High School about the dangers of distracted driving and shared the story of his own tragic loss. CBS 3’s Stephanie Stahl joined him on campus. Watch more about Joel’s visit below.
