Congratulations to Anapol Weiss shareholder, Kristen Gibbons Feden, who was recently selected to the National Black Lawyers Top 100 List for 2025! This is not the first time Kristen has been selected for distinguished honors. It follows an esteemed career, which has also earned her recognition by Forbes, Super Lawyers, The Legal and many others.
About The National Black Lawyers Top 100 List and Methodology
Inclusion on The National Black Lawyers list is invitation only, so it can’t be bought. Only the most successful and influential lawyers are invited to this exclusive organization, notably those that have a great reputation for community leadership and demonstrate excellence in their prospective practice areas.
This esteemed organization recognizes attorneys in 44 states and across 82 legal fields, ranging from corporate law and civil rights to family law and criminal defense. Once a lawyer is nominated, they undergo a rigorous third-party review process that weighs the attorney’s reputation, certifications, recent achievements and leadership in both legal and community organizations.
Kristen Gibbons Feden currently serves on the Board of Directors for Montgomery County’s Victim Services Center and as Advisory Council for Aequitas, which is a national resource for law enforcement agencies investigating and prosecuting sex trafficking and other sex crimes. In the past, she served as a Member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Criminal Procedural Rules Committee.
Kristen Gibbons Feden: A National Advocate for Justice
In addition to her organizational contributions, Attorney Gibbons Feden has established herself as a national advocate for justice, primarily representing survivors of institutional sexual abuse. Most recently, she along with co-counsel, have been at the forefront of the fight for accountability from two Illinois-based youth detention centers who, for more than 20 years, sexually abused teens (many of whom were there for low-level offenses).
Known for her closing argument in the second trial of Commonwealth vs. William H. Cosby and her 10 million dollar verdict against R. Kelly, Kristen Gibbons Feden remains a fierce advocate for accountability and change. She, along with shareholder Alexandra Walsh have filed lawsuits against the Alexander Brothers, on behalf of two survivors. In this case, the Alexander Brothers are accused of luring their victims with promises of luxurious experiences only to sexually assault them. This depraved activity is alleged to have occurred for nearly 20 years.
Attorney Gibbons Feden is also representing families in their fight against mega-gaming platform, Roblox, for the role their negligence has played in the grooming and sexual exploitation committed against minors. At this time, Anapol Weiss has already filed nine lawsuits against Roblox, and is currently investigating many other cases.
Kristen Gibbons Feden shares the tenacity and commitment to justice that all of our lawyers carry. Giving survivors a voice is at the heart of everything we do and we’re proud to have Kristen Gibbons Feden on our team. Her selection to The National Black Lawyers Top 100 List serves as another example of how she tackles these cases. They’re not just another case file; she recognizes the humanity of every survivor she speaks to and does whatever she can to remind them that they still have a voice, and more importantly, that their voice still matters.
