How A Lawyer Can Help After An Injury From A Recalled Power Bank
When a recalled lithium-ion power bank overheats, catches fire, or causes burns, you may face more than immediate medical care. You may also deal with follow-up treatment, missed work, damaged property, and uncertainty about who should pay. An experienced product liability lawyer can help by gathering the right evidence early, including photos of the device, serial number details, packaging, order confirmations, medical records, and repair estimates for any fire or smoke damage.
In addition, a lawyer can help identify all potentially responsible parties, such as the manufacturer, distributor, and seller, and then pursue compensation through the appropriate legal path. That can include seeking payment for medical bills, lost income, pain and suffering, and property damage. Just as importantly, legal support can help you avoid common missteps, like discarding the device too soon or giving a recorded statement before you understand your rights.
