Experienced Litigator in Civil and Criminal Matters
Candida José Fabick is an attorney at Anapol Weiss, bringing more than two decades of litigation experience across civil, family, and criminal matters.
Before joining Anapol Weiss, Candida practiced alongside her husband in a firm born during the pandemic. In their practice, she managed various firm operations and represented clients in District Court, the Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Court, Dependency Court, and Domestic Relations Court, drafting civil and criminal pleadings, discovery, legal memoranda, and appellate briefs. Earlier in her career, she was an associate attorney in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, where she handled civil litigation matters including estate administration, foreclosure, and collections, along with family law matters such as custody, support, divorce, and guardianship.
Candida began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable M. Teresa Sarmina, retired, in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, where she conducted research and writing on criminal law matters and drafted judicial opinions and court orders. She previously served as a legal intern with the U.S. Immigration Court in Philadelphia.
Candida earned her J.D. from Widener University School of Law, where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity and made the Dean's List. She served as Research Editor for the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and published "Section 11 of the Securities Act of 1933: The Disproportionate Liability Imputed to Accountants" in the same journal. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) and her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Randolph-Macon College.
