Human Resources and Office Administration Manager

Mareya is a bright and hardworking professional with a background in human resources, learning & development, and office management in the legal field. She currently serves as the Human Resources and Office Administration Manager at Anapol Weiss, where she brings her diverse professional background and commitment to efficiency to the forefront. In her role, Mareya spearheads the overall management of the firm’s headquarters and offices, ensuring seamless operations and a cohesive work environment. As part of her responsibilities, she oversees human resource management, including recruiting and supervising the firm’s support staff. Mareya’s proficiency is particularly evident in her role as the Benefits Administrator, where she manages all facets of benefit administration. Her involvement extends to overseeing the firm’s business and professional liability insurance policies, and she provides managerial support to the firm and its shareholders, becoming an essential pillar in the company’s day-to-day operations.

Before joining Anapol Weiss, Mareya was a Learning & Development Specialist and Key Meeting Coordinator with a law firm in Philly, where she worked closely with the firm’s CHRO and L&E Manager to develop and coordinate cross-functional trainings. Mareya created training guides and human resources training videos (security awareness and diversity, equity, and inclusion) and conducted all new hire trainings as well. Additionally, she was responsible for ensuring all employees completed any additional relevant trainings such as phishing campaign trainings and paralegal/legal assistant curriculum learning path trainings through the learning management system (LMS). As a Key Meeting Coordinator, Mareya was the SOLE coordinator for the entire firm when it came to meetings set up in any conference room in any office, and she coordinated daily meetings for all attorney’s firm-wide, including the CEO, Executive Committee Members, etc. In this position, she was responsible with collaborating with the IT and Help Desk department to ensure that all equipment and technology was working properly for the meetings (deposition, mediation, etc.) In both of her roles, Mareya’s responsibilities consisted of ensuring the operations of the firm were always in order and all employees were up to date on their trainings so that the firm was constantly developing (business development).

Prior to this, Mareya was a Case Management Paralegal for a regional law firm, as well as a Data Analyst/Testing Coordinator and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Assistant with SEPTA, where she was responsible for managing, planning, and implementing numerous projects, including creating study guides, answer keys, and PowerPoint slides for trainings, and developing the HRIS system. She also handled HR duties, such as conducting interviews, meetings and trainings, recruiting candidates for testing, collecting personnel information for the interview process, and scheduling candidates for interviews.

Mareya graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
