Biomet has agreed to pay in excess of $150M to people who needed their failed metal-on-metal hip implant replaced. The settlement, negotiated by lead counsel Thomas Anapol, provided for a $200,000 base award for eligible claimants.
Stryker Rejuvenate and ABG II Hip Implant Settlement
Stryker agreed to pay in excess of $1.4B for defective hip devices. The settlement negotiated by several lawyers, including Thomas Anapol, provided for a base award of $300,000 per case. To date, it is the highest base settlement in any metal-on-metal hip implant litigation.
Defective Transvaginal Mesh Implant Cases
