Catherine A. Foley joined Anapol Weiss in 2021 as an associate in the firm’s Mass Tort Department. Catherine concentrates her practice on pharmaceutical and medical device cases.
Prior to joining Anapol Weiss, Catherine worked for eight years in the Mass Tort Department of a prominent Philadelphia personal injury firm where she was a part of several trial teams that secured multi-million-dollar verdicts against Johnson & Johnson on behalf of women injured by defective medical devices. Catherine also spent several years defending medical malpractice actions including the representation of hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in professional liability claims.
Catherine earned her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law where she was a recipient of the Law Merit Space Scholarship and was recognized for her outstanding oral advocacy and legal writing skills. While in law school, Catherine interned at the Federal Defenders Office and clerked for Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Teresa Sarmina. Catherine received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Sonoma State University in Northern California where she was raised.
Catherine is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
