Advocating for Victims of Unsafe Drugs and Medical Devices
Adrianne is a member of the firm’s Unsafe Drug and Medical Device Team. Her practice primarily involves pharmaceutical and medical device mass tort litigation and class actions.
Adrianne currently serves as Liaison Counsel for plaintiffs in the AlloDerm Human Tissue Matrix litigation (Case No. 295). She has successfully represented clients in the Paxil Birth Defect (Pregnancy) litigation in Philadelphia’s Court of Common Pleas mass tort program and the Kugel Hernia Mesh litigation in Rhode Island state and federal courts. She also assisted on trial preparation for the Vioxx Litigation and depositions for the litigation involving Yaz®, Yasmin® and Ocella® birth control.
Adrianne also represents juveniles and parents involved in the “Kids for Cash” scandal that occurred in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania and serves as a member of the Claims Committee for a multi-million dollar class settlement involving one defendant. The United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania certified a litigation class against the remaining defendants in the case, and Anapol Weiss has been named as Class Counsel with two other firms.
Above and Beyond
Adrianne received the Above and Beyond Award from the American Association for Justice New Lawyers Division. She was named among the Top 50 Women Lawyers in the 2014 edition of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers and was included on the 2016 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list.
Adrianne was elected among the Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers in 2012. She holds a Superb 10.0 rating on Avvo.com and was recognized by the American Registry as a Top Attorney in Pennsylvania for 2013.
Outstanding Legal Background
Adrianne earned her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law. While at Temple Law, Adrianne participated in the clinical program at Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and received the Distinguished Classroom Performance and Outstanding Oral Advocacy Awards.
Adrianne is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District and Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Adrianne is an active member of the American Association for Justice, where she was selected as a Pennsylvania governor for Board of Governors.
